Lobenberg: Fette Amarenakirsch-Nase steigt aus einem schwarz-öligen Wein. Ein Chateauneuf der Oberklasse mit hohem Syrah-Anteil? Dunkle asiatische Gewürze, Graphit, Rauch, üppige Schokolade mit hohem Kakaoanteil, darunter ein Brombeer-Schwarzkirsch-Maulbeer-Teppich mit satter, butterweicher Tanninauflage. Lakritze. Im Mund dann mehr ein konzentrierter Pomerol denn ein Chateauneuf, ein Evangile aus Saint Emilion. Satte Viskosität. Die tolle Frische wird dann sofort von der immensen Frucht überdeckt, extremer Extrakt und Glyzerin, wollüstig und dann doch nicht überreif, macht jetzt schon ungeheuer viel Trinkspaß. Irre dicht und schwer beeindruckend. 95-96/100

-- Katalog: -- Parker: Another brilliant wine from the talented Jean-Philippe Janoueix, this blend of 68% Merlot and 32% Cabernet France produced a wine that came in just under 15% natural alcohol. Of course, the vineyard is near Clos Fourtet, and it seems as though a lot of properties in that band of terroir did incredible jobs in 2009. A big, black/purple-colored wine with notes of blackberries, licorice, graphite, truffle and some subtle, toasty oak, the wine is full-bodied and unctuously textured, with loads of glycerin, fruit, and a massive, velvety textured finish. This superb wine should drink well for 15 or more years. 93/100

This is going in a much more refined style than before due to an increase in the Merlot. 66 percent Merlot, 32 percent Cabernet Franc and 2 percent Cabernet Sauvignon. 91-94/100
