Lobenberg: Dunkler als der Brunello des Hauses, obwohl dieser Rosso trotz der Benamung in Wirklichkeit auch ein Brunello ist. Sogar der gleiche Wein, biodynamisch und aus den alten Reben, nur nicht lange im großen Holz sondern kürzer im kleineren Holzfass ausgebaut. Also die moderne Version des gleichen großen Weins! Burgundisch, satte Schwarzkirsche und Sauerkirsche, im Mund dann auch noch frische Zwetschge und rote und schwarze Johannisbeere. Auch Brombeere und feine Bitterschokolade kommen im langen Nachhall. Das ist für mich ein Brunello von gehobenster Klasse mit superber Frucht und schönem Druck. Eine kaum vorstellbare, superbe Balance. Der perfekte Rosso! 95/100

Quite soft and suave on entry, but with wonderful precision to its ripe red fruit and mineral flavors. This manages to be ripe, broad and silky without showing any obvious weight. Finishes sweet, pliant, minerally and extremely long, with just a trace of alcohol, a hallmark of many '07 Rossos due to the hot weather. An early candidate for Rosso of the vintage, this is better than many Brunellos on the market and carries a price tag to match. In fact, this Rosso is totally a declassified Brunello, made from younger vines ranging from 5 to 45 years of age and released a year later than the Rossos of most other producers. 92/100
